What limitations are there in the trial
version of Time Meter?
An unregistered copy of Time Meter may be used for evaluation
purposes for the period of 30 (thirty) days following the
initial installation. At the end of the TRIAL PERIOD, the
user must either register the Time Meter or remove it from
his system.
I want to back up Time Meter data. Where
is program data stored?
Program data is stored in the file timemeter.pst. For example:
C:\Documents and Settings\%USER%\Application Data\MindSpec\Time Meter\data\timemeter.pst.
How can I move Time Meter with all entered
data from one computer to another?
To do it, you should do the following:
- Install
Time Meter on the new computer.
- Copy
the file with data timemeter.pst from the old computer to
the new one.
Does Time Meter support the multiuser
mode?
You can use MS Exchange public folders to work with Time
Meter in the multiuser mode. See the description of the configuration
here.
How to change the location and names
of Time Meter folders?
You should move/rename Time Meter folders using MS Outlook
or change the path to folders using the Time Meter/Options
menu, the Folder Locations tab.
I need to customize the standard version
of Time Meter. Can you do it?
It is possible for an additional payment. You can send a
brief description of necessary changes to the following e-mail
address: support@timemeter.com.
I have received a registration key. How
can I register the program?
Use the Time Meter/Register menu.
I have purchased the program, but have
not received the key. How can I get it?
You must receive your key within 48 hours at the e-mail address
specified in the order. The message with your key may have
been deleted by the spam filter of your mail client. Send
a message with a key request to the following e-mail address:
sales@timemeter.com.
I have lost my product key. How can I
restore it?
Send a request to sales@timemeter.com
with the following information about the order in it: customer's
name, purchase date, e-mail.
When I try to create a new Time Entry
or Expense record, the following message is displayed: "The
custom form could not be opened.
". How can I solve
this problem?
It is a known
bug in MS Outlook. To solve this problem, run the program
C:\Program Files\Time Meter\clearcache.exe.
When I try to select the Time Mete/Reports
menu item, MS Outlook freezes. How can I solve this problem?
This problem can occur if the MDAC component is corrupted.
